Tashkent hosted Uzbekistan – Hungary Business Forum and the First Meeting of the Joint Business Council.

According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, the events were attended by the heads of ministries and agencies, industry associations, as well as representatives of the private sector.

The parties welcomed the launch of Uzbekistan – Hungary Business Council as a reliable platform for establishing long-term contacts between representatives of private businesses of the two countries, creating favorable conditions for business cooperation, as well as supporting and promoting joint projects.

At the Business Forum, the existing potential for the development of cooperation in promising industries (agriculture, pharmaceuticals, electrotechnical, textile industries, as well as the production of building materials) was revealed in detail.

Following the events, the final protocol of the meeting of the Business Council, as well as agreements on the implementation of 22 projects in agriculture, animal husbandry, food industry, production of biological fertilizers and other areas, were signed.
