Tashkent hosts the 8th international exhibition “Textile and Fashion Industry – UzTextile Expo Spring 2024”.

The Uzbekistan – China Textile Forum was also organized as part of the exhibition.

The officials and representatives of the two countries’ business circles spoke about the work being carried out in the textile industry in Uzbekistan and China, including achievements and new opportunities.

As noted, 250 companies and brands from Uzbekistan, Belarus, India, China, Russia, Tajikistan, and Türkiye participated in this year's exhibition, which indicates that the prestige of this event is growing every year.

The number of local manufacturers participating in this exhibition is increasing. So, this year, 60 Uzbek manufacturers took part in it – from cotton and textile clusters to representatives of small businesses, who presented their latest developments and high-quality products of the textile and clothing industry.

At the exhibition, the Chinese national stand attracts the special attention of visitors and industry specialists, presenting a wide range of opportunities in this field. In particular, 145 Chinese companies demonstrate their quality products – home textiles, ready-made clothing, underwear, synthetic, technical, and knitted fabrics.

The textile forum has become an essential platform for cooperation between the two countries’ businesspeople.
