Tashkent hosts the Literary Forum devoted to the 165th anniversary of A.P. Chekhov
The 4th Tashkent Literary Forum devoted to the 165th anniversary of A.P. Chekhov’s birth was held at the Department of Russian Linguistics of the National University of Uzbekistan. For the first time, the event gained international status by bringing together researchers and cultural figures from Russia, the Czech Republic, Finland, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, the USA, and Uzbekistan.
The Forum has become a professional platform for discussing current trends in philological science, sharing experiences, and presenting new scientific approaches. Representatives of the diplomatic corps, scientists, and famous writers spoke at the plenary session.

In the second part of the forum, breakout sessions were held in a roundtable format. The participants discussed current problems in philology, Chekhov’s innovations, his influence on world literature, issues of interpreting the art form, and the psychology of the literary hero. A separate section was devoted to the teaching methods of Chekhov’s works in schools and universities.

Following the event, the speakers were awarded certificates.
