The Service for Sanitary Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health and the German Epidemic Preparedness Team (SEEG) organized a Central Asian conference in Tashkent.

Experts from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan discussed pandemic prevention and laboratory diagnostics in regional and interregional contexts. The participants considered the issues of prevention of a pandemic by improving laboratory diagnostics.

The participants of the conference noted the need for strengthening cooperation and technical exchange between various decision-making and basic diagnostic institutions.
