On November 26, Tashkent hosted the Second International Financial and Banking Forum, at which issues of current trends and prospects for the development of the financial sector were discussed.

The forum was attended by over 500 representatives of banks, insurance, leasing organizations, investment companies, stock exchanges, ministries and agencies, regulators from 20 countries.

The organizers of this event were the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the CIS Financial and Banking Council, LLC SAIPRO GROUP, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

A plenary session “Integration in the CIS space in the context of new economic realities” was held. The participants considered issues of integration, transformation and international cooperation in the financial sphere.

XIII Tashkent International Conference on Insurance and Reinsurance, XI Tashkent International Conference on Leasing, as well as the session “Development of Exchange Markets in the CIS” were also held.

One of the traditional parts of the forum was the awarding of the winners with the Oltin Soyabon award. It is awarded to the best organizations and specialists in insurance activities in Uzbekistan.
