Tashkent hosted Rugby-7 Student League Competitions, organized for the first time by the Student Sports Association and Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek.

Nukus State Pedagogical University named after Ajiniyaz took the first, the State University of Physical Culture and Sports of Uzbekistan – the second, and Karakalpak State University – the third place in women’s championships.

Rugby players of the State University of Physical Culture and Sports of Uzbekistan, the National University of Uzbekistan and Nukus State Pedagogical University named after Ajiniyaz shared the prizes in youth championships.

Winners were awarded prizes and memorable gifts.
