On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and January 14, Defender of the Motherland Day, a military-patriotic festival was held on the square adjacent to the Friendship of Peoples Palace, in Tashkent.

At the event, the participants were shown military equipment and weapons, the capabilities of material support units, musical programs of military teams, drill training, demonstration performances in hand-to-hand combat, as well as dog handlers.
