The festival was organized by the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Pencak Silat Federation and a number of state and public organizations. It was attended by masters of pencak silat and art representatives from Central Asia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Russia.

At the opening ceremony of the festival, participants spoke about the role of sport in educating younger generation as fully developed and healthy, attention paid to development of sport in Uzbekistan. As a result, the country has developed types of martial arts, a number of Uzbekistan athletes successfully performed at prestigious international tournaments.

The purpose of this international festival is to promote a healthy lifestyle among youth, attract them to sports activities, and increase athletes’ experiences and skills.
