Tashkent hosted the first stage of the international scientific and technical conference on “Current problems of innovative technologies in the chemical, oil refining and food industries” timed to the 30th anniversary of the founding of Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute.

The event was attended by leading scientists and specialists from more than 20 countries, in particular, the USA, Russia, Spain, China, Belarus, Korea, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan.

An exhibition on the integration of science and production was organized. Food products, scientific and technical manuals, homemade devices were demonstrated.

The conference, which will last for two days, is aimed at strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions, research institutes and manufacturing enterprises of foreign countries. Over 300 current problems will be presented.

The second part of the conference will take place on May 26 at Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute.
