Tashkent hosts the International Scientific and Practical Conference on “The role of strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in ensuring sustainable development of Central Asia”.

The opening ceremony of the conference was attended by the IICA Director Anvar Nosirov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Furkat Sidikov. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda, Director of the Strategic Research Center under President Khayriddin Usmonzoda and President of the National Academy of Sciences Farkhod Rahimi addressed the event.

Director of the International Institute for Central Asia Anvar Nosirov, Deputy Director of the Strategic Research Center under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Parviz Muhammadzoda and Director of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms under the Presidential Administration Obid Khakimov delivered speeches at the plenary session.
