The forum on “Silk Road: Cooperation without boundaries” is attended by guides, tour operators, museologists from various regions of the country, international experts and other specialists of tourism industry.

At the opening ceremony of the forum, the Acting Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development Abdulaziz Akkulov announced the establishment of the Association of Guides of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

“The issue of organizing the Association of Guides was considered for 10 years, and finally this project is implemented thanks to the State Committee for Tourism Development, the Educational and Consulting Center of Tourism and guides of our country”, – says A. Akkulov.

According to Abdulaziz Akkulov, the Association of Guides will unite participants of Uzbekistan tourism market. One of its main objectives is creation of favorable socio-economic conditions in the country for tourism activities.

An international scientific-practical conference is being held within the framework of the forum.

The forum will last two days.
