On June 21, Tashkent hosted the International Day of Yoga.

The opening ceremony of the event dedicated to the International Day of Yoga was attended by the Minister of Sports Development of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov, Tashkent City Hokim Jakhongir Artikkhodjayev and international yoga expert Rahul Mishra from India.

In Uzbekistan, the festival is held for the second time, and in the world, it is held for the eighth time. The festival was attended by employees of various enterprises and organizations of Tashkent, members of the Yoga Center, young people – almost five thousand participants.

Earlier yoga festivals were held in Samarkand and Karshi.
