Tashkent hosted the First International Scientific-Technical Conference on “Transport: current tasks and innovations”.

It should be noted that the Coordinating Transport Meeting of the CIS Member States includes 34 higher education institutions and 21 research institutions of 9 countries working in the field of transport. Tashkent State Transport University is also a member of this organization.

The event, organized with the assistance of the CIS CTM, was attended by rectors of more than 100 universities of the CIS Member States, scientists, specialists of the sphere and representatives of logistics companies.

Participants discussed the issues of determining the prospects for cooperation in education and scientific cooperation for the development of an effective integrated transport system in the CIS. Views were also exchanged on the creation of scientifically based innovative ideas and developments together with the universities of transport and communication orientation of the CIS countries.
