The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan hosted an international scientific and practical conference “90 days in Tokyo”, dedicated to the use of innovative technologies in sports and practical medicine.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Uzbekistan, the National Olympic Committee and the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Sports Medicine.

The speakers spoke about the preparation of Uzbekistan athletes for Tokyo Olympics using modern sports technologies, about the main tasks of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Sports Medicine. It was noted that the RSPCSM team needs to prepare for such major competitions as the Hangzhou-2022 Asian Games, the Paris-2024 Olympic Games, using the latest achievements in sports science.

The conference was attended by specialists from Russia, Turkey and Germany, who gave lectures and held practical workshops on topics such as the use of innovative technologies in this area, the problem of injuries in sports, sports genetics, accurate diagnosis of injuries, the use of laser, magnetic and shock wave therapy in rehabilitation.
