Tashkent hosted the Hotel Business Forum 2023, which brought together representatives of the foreign diplomatic corps, international experts, representatives of the hotel business, the system of hotel providers, tour operators, marketers, representatives of world brands to resolve important issues related to the industry.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Ozodbek Nazarbekov delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the event. He noted that the forum is held to unite all participants in the tourism industry, develop and improve the service sector in the country, introduce international standards and norms of mutually beneficial cooperation. The event will serve to strengthen partnership in information technology, ecology, digitalization of services, education and personnel issues.

The forum was dedicated to “Trends in Hospitality: From Collaboration of Services to IT Solutions. Hotels in Uzbekistan. Projects and Buildings.

The event, organized by the Hoteliers Association of Uzbekistan jointly with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was also attended by regional leaders of the world-famous international hotel chains Radisson, Hilton, Accor, Marriott, and Wyndham.

As part of the event, a B2B exhibition was organized, which presented a full range of products and services for the HoReCa segment, leading providers of hotel services. The exposition included furniture, interior items, professional textiles, uniforms, automation of security systems and other areas.

Sessions and discussions on current topics were organized. The Second National Hospitality Award took place.
