Tashkent hosted Germany's Economy Day with the support of the Representative Office of the German Economy in Central Asia.

The event was attended by more than 100 representatives of the German and Uzbekistan business community, investors, as well as heads and specialists of ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan.

The main goal of the event is to identify prospects and opportunities for further enhancing business ties, development of bilateral trade, promotion of joint investment projects and initiatives, strengthening ties between the business circles of both countries.

The conference program included reports and presentations on the agro-industrial sector, mining and metallurgy, and the chemical industry. German companies informed about their activities and shared their experience in relevant areas.

The conference also included B2B and G2B meetings, during which representatives of politics and business of both countries discussed opportunities and prospects for business cooperation.
