Tashkent hosts a traditional international chess tournament timed to the memory of Uzbekistan’s first grandmaster, Georgy Agzamov.

The first round of the tournament matches started today. Famous chess players from 20 countries are among the participants.

The 10-round tournament will be held in categories A and B. 95 participants are registered in the first and 148 in the second.
