Tashkent hosts First International Gastronomic Festival “Gastro Bazaar”
The festival is organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development jointly with Tashkent city khokimiyat, in Sayilgoh Street (Broadway), Tashkent.
On August 9, 2019, Tashkent hosted a press conference dedicated to the First International Gastronomic Festival “Gastro Bazaar” and a workshop on meetings industry MICE-tourism from UNWTO.
The festival, organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development jointly with Tashkent city khokimiyat, will be held on 9-11 August in Sayilgoh Street (Broadway).
The event is aimed at developing and promoting gastronomic potential of Uzbekistan at the international level, promoting awareness of the country’s tourism brand, formation of a positive image of the country abroad, promotion of the country among potential foreign tourists as an attractive tourist destination.
Master classes on manufacturing folk and applied arts products and preparation of national and foreign dishes, various exhibitions and fairs, rope walkers’ and illusionists’ show, performances of Uzbek pop stars and others will be held during the event.
