The Ministry of Sports Development held a dialogue with a group of foreign sports experts who visited Uzbekistan.
From November 3 to 7, training courses in boxing, judo, swimming, weightlifting and wrestling will be held in Tashkent based on the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) program “Development of Coaches and Referees”.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Sports Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the National Olympic Committee, is designed to further strengthen the popularization of the Olympic Movement on the continent, to inform everyone about new achievements in science and new rules.
The event is attended by experts from 14 countries in Central Asia (Afghanistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan) and South Asia (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka).
On November 5, a mass run “FunRun” with the participation of 500 young athletes will be held at the Center for Olympic and Paralympic Sports Training to further strengthen the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the youth of the country, to attract them to sports.
The international workshop will be attended by two coaches and judges from each country, and the total number of participants will be 280 people, including more than 10 experts from Uzbekistan, Canada, Ireland, the United States, Thailand, China, Russia, appointed by the OCA and international federations.
