The International Conference “Samarkand OTS Summit: Main results and prospects for the development of cooperation” has kicked off in Tashkent.

The event is organized by the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the support of the International Institute for Central Asia.

More than 20 representatives of leading analytical centers of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Hungary, as well as the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States are taking part in the conference.

Director of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Eldor Aripov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fazilov, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS Gismat Gozalov, Deputy Director of the International Institute for Central Asia Fanil Kadirov addressed the event.

The participants discussed the main results of the First OTS Summit in Samarkand, including its significance, as well as important initiatives put forward by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the sidelines of the event.
