Tashkent hosts an international conference on new materials and solar technologies

An international scientific conference on “New materials and solar technologies” kicks off in Tashkent region’s Parkent district.

The event is attended by specialists of the Institute of Nuclear Physics, the Institute of Ion-Plasma and Laser Technologies, the Institute of Physics and Technology, Tashkent State Technical University named after I. Karimov, the Center for Advanced Technologies, Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, academics and media representatives.

The event is aimed at analyzing, discussing and developing scientifically based recommendations for the creation, improvement and use of new materials, solar technologies and renewable energy sources.

Reports of scientists from the United States, Germany, France, South Korea, Russia, Belarus and Uzbekistan on the creation of multifunctional materials, issues of their use in manufacturing products, as well as in the field of solar technologies and renewable energy sources were heard at the event.

As it was noted, the next direction is a project for the production of superconducting materials. The introduction of these products into practice will save 20-30 percent of electricity.

Opinions were expressed on the proposed projects at the event.
