Tashkent hosts an exhibition of national Romanian costumes
The Museum of Applied Arts in Tashkent hosts an exhibition of national Romanian costumes. The event is organized by the Embassy of Romania in Uzbekistan.
The opening of the exhibition took place on June 24 the Universal Day of the Romanian Blouse. The holiday was established by the corresponding decree of the President of Romania.
Hand-embroidered clothing ornaments differ depending on the region, have a rare beauty and have a meaning lost in the mists of time.
The exhibition will run until July 1 this year.
