The “Shon-Sharaf” Museum at the memorial complex “Victory Park” in Tashkent hosted an international roundtable discussion on “Uzbekistan – Belarus: 30 years in the tradition of friendship, trust and partnership”.

The event was organized by the Public Diplomacy Center of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization with the support of the embassies of Uzbekistan in Minsk and Belarus in Tashkent, representatives of the Belarusian Peace Foundation, Unions of Writers, scientific and academic circles, cinematographers, museum and archival institutions of the two countries.

It was noted that relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus continue to develop successfully in the spirit of friendship and partnership.

The participants of the event discussed the prospects for the implementation of joint projects and programs in literary creativity and publishing, the interaction of educational and scientific institutions of Uzbekistan and Belarus, as well as the experience of public organizations in educating young people about the values of friendship and intercultural dialogue.
