The World Cup Taekwon‑Do Games 2024 opened in the Tashkent Sports Complex “Yunusabad”.

Representatives of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF), the ministries of sports of Uzbekistan and other states, and sports veterans attended the event.

There were demonstration performances, a concert program, and an award ceremony for athletes who contributed significantly to the development and popularization of taekwondo.

The championships will run until November 7.
