Tashkent hosted the International Opera and Ballet Festival, organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation.

On the stage of the State Academic Grand Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi, art fans enjoyed performances by the world’s leading choreographers and directors.

This year, the Uzbek ballet “Lazgi. Dance of Soul and Love” opened the International Opera and Ballet Festival.

The festival also featured the ballet “Like Breathing” by Italian choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti, the one-act ballet “Gabrielle Chanel” by Yuri Posokhov, the performances “Russian Hamlet” by Boris Eifman, “Chotto Desh” by Akram Khan, “Romeo and Juliet” by Vyacheslav Samodurov, and a gala concert “Ural Ballet” and many other productions.

Guests of the festival witnessed that Uzbekistan pays great attention to developing all types of art.
