Tashkent hosted the traditional International Festival of Fine and Applied Arts. It was organized by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and timed to coincide with the Year of Ensuring Human Interests and Mahalla Development.

At the event, it was noted that the festival has become a kind of platform for exchanging opinions and getting acquainted with the latest works of creative intelligentsia.

The exhibitions organized within the framework of the festival reflected the role and importance of the Uzbek mahalla in the life of people and society. For five days, the most interesting exhibitions and creative projects of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan were held in the exhibition halls and galleries. The visitors got acquainted with the work of both famous and young artists. The paintings reflected the brightest colors of spring, the hospitable people of the country and renewing Uzbekistan.

The visitors also got acquainted with the works of Polish, Korean and Tajik artists. Conferences and masterclasses provided an opportunity to enrich the knowledge of students who study fine arts, design, architecture, and artistic sculpture.

The most active participants of the festival were awarded medals and diplomas from the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
