On August 16-17, Tashkent will host the Second SCO Economic Forum within the framework of Uzbekistan's chairmanship in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, during the forum, participants will discuss the development of mutually beneficial trade-economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, and develop effective measures to increase ties in the SCO space.

The event will also include plenary sessions, panel sessions, and B2B contacts. It is expected that the rich agenda of the forum will reveal the potential of the digital economy, green technologies, regional cooperation, increasing investment interaction, industrial cooperation and other priority areas of partnership.

The SCO Economic Forum is intended to become an effective platform not only for establishing intergovernmental dialogue, but also for interaction between representatives of business circles, enterprises, as well as for attracting investors to the regions of the SCO space.
