The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Central Asian countries gathered in Tashkent’s Congress Hall.
An informal meeting of the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the Central Asian countries took place within the framework of the International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities”.
The event was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, as well as the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Nuran Niyazaliev.
The parties discussed the progress of preparations for the international conference and regional issues.
