Tashkent hosted a meeting of football representatives of Turkic countries as part of FIFA events.

The meeting was attended by representatives of football associations of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Hungary, and Azerbaijan, representatives of the AFC and UEFA. It was held in an open and constructive spirit.

At the meeting, proposals and opinions were expressed on training football specialists, coaches, and referees, the exchange of experience, the establishment of comprehensive cooperation between football associations, and several other issues.

At the meeting, the participants discussed the development and popularization of football and the organization of international competitions between national teams and clubs.

It was recognized that Uzbekistan is becoming one of the countries making a worthy contribution to football development at the international level.
