Tashkent Futures exhibition presents the works of young artists – participants in the research laboratory of the Centre for Contemporary Arts in Tashkent (CCA Lab) as part of a project of the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to the Art and Culture Development Foundation, the laboratory is an interdisciplinary platform for cooperation between young artists mastering the world of contemporary art.
The event, which was the result of joint efforts of researchers on environmental issues and inclusion, presents various aspects of the existence of a modern person in the conditions of the urban environment of Tashkent, including people with disabilities. Exhibitors offer a new look at the problems of irresponsibility and indifference towards this environment.

Artists seek to overcome stereotypical views on environmental issues as a confrontation between “nature” and “production”, and turn directly to a man as the main “creator” of urban space.
Art critic Alexey Ulko is as curator of the project.
The exhibition, which takes place at the 139 Documentary Center, will run until October 9.
