Tashkent awards the International Biennale of Applied Arts winners

Tashkent hosted a solemn event of awarding the winners of the Fourth Tashkent International Biennale of Applied Arts, organized by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, People’s Artist Akmal Nuriddinov noted that this creative project is of great importance in promoting the boundless attention paid in the country to applied art at the international level, establishing a dialogue between artists and designers, masters and artisans of different countries.

The event included exhibitions, conferences, masterclasses, and presentations related to applied art. Participants from abroad visited the ancient and eternally young Samarkand and got acquainted with various sights.

They also witnessed our sacred and blessed land taking advantage of unprecedented opportunities to develop national art.

The authors of the best creative works were awarded by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
