The Republican stage of the competition Tashabbus 2015 for the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at Turkiston Palace on 11 June.

These summer days became the most exciting and interesting time for many entrepreneurs, farmers and craftspeople: they took part in the finals of the traditional contest Tashabbus, being held at the initiative of President Islam Karimov since 1996.

This year, as before, the contest was conducted in all regions of Uzbekistan, attended by more than 6.2 thousand entrepreneurs, farmers and craftspeople. 41 people winning in district, city and regional stages got tickets for the republican stage of the competition Tashabbus 2015.

By tradition, the contest was organized by the Chamber of Commerce, the Farmers Council of Uzbekistan, Hunarmand craftsmen Association in cooperation with the support of several ministries and departments.

The main objectives of the contest was the rapid development of the business environment, increasing the role and importance of the private sector in the economy of the country, creating the necessary conditions for enhancing professional skills and knowledge of entrepreneurs.


The exposition created in the capital's Turkiston Palace attracted not only the attention of the jury and participants of the contest, but also many visitors and foreign guests. A variety of goods and products – foodstuffs, medicines, home appliances, clothing, furniture, jewelry, carpets and many others clearly reflected the full creative power of the generous land of Uzbekistan.

The resolution of President Islam Karimov on measures to further improve the organization of activities and development of farming in Uzbekistan dated from 22 October 2012 significantly expanded their powers. Thanks to that farming became the main form of organization of agricultural production.

This year’s winners were determined in three main categories: "Best Entrepreneur of the Year", "Best Farmer of the Year", "Best Craftspeople of the Year", and additional – "Young Entrepreneur of the Year", "Best Elderly Entrepreneur of the Year", "Best Woman Entrepreneur of the Year", "Best Innovative Project of the Year", "Best Employer for Young People", "My Homeland – My Pride", "Best Product of the Year" and others.

In the nomination "Best Entrepreneur of 2015 year" became the Director of LLC "Takro Osiyo" Kamoliddin Ghiyosov from Tashkent region. His company focuses on production and export of knitted fabrics and finished products.

Ilyosjon Botirov from Namangan region is recognized as the best farmer. His diversified farming "Rais-Sang" grows cotton, wheat and has cattle and greenhouses.

The best craftsman of 2015 became Allazar Sadullayev from Khorezm region. The craftsman is well known for his works on the restoration of historical monuments.

The first place winners of the Tashabbus 2015 were awarded with prizes of the President of the country – the keys from "Spark" cars, second and third places with cash prizes. The winners in additional categories were awarded with valuable gifts.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan U.Rozuqulov spoke at the event.
