On September 30, the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva met with a group of teachers and mentors as part of her visit to Yakkasaray district.

This meeting, held on the occasion of October 1, the Day of Teachers and Mentors, aimed to recognize the high importance of teachers’ work and strengthen respect and attention to them.

The Chairperson of the Senate noted that the role of teachers and mentors in society’s development is invaluable. She expressed her sincere gratitude for their selfless work and services in raising children as educated, moral people and patriots of their country.

During the conversation, teachers and mentors drew attention to the large-scale reforms carried out in Uzbekistan in recent years to develop education and bring it to a qualitatively new level. It was emphasized that the work initiated by the Head of State to improve the working and living conditions of teachers, increase their professional status, and enhance social protection is yielding positive results.
