Talented, gifted youth are the support of the country
Young poet has received a gift on behalf of the President.
On the occasion of June 30, the Youth Day, running championships at a distance of 6 kilometers were held in Nurafshan city of Tashkent region. The event, attended by more than 1 500 people, continued with commissioning ceremony of the Youth Center building constructed in the city.
The estimated cost of building is 22 billion soums. All conditions are created here for acquiring knowledge and good recreation for young people. English and Korean language courses, computer and business literacy, psychology, visual and applied arts, music, cooking, sewing, chess classes are organized at the center.
In connection with the holiday, a spiritual and enlightenment event was held at the Youth Center.
It was attended by the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khayriddin Sultanov, First Deputy Advisor to the President Kakhramon Kuranbayev, Deputy Advisor to the President Farkhod Makhmudov, Chairman of Uzbekistan Writers Union Sirojiddin Sayyid, writers, poets, representatives of state and public organizations, youth.
Young poet Zilola Shomurodova received a gift on behalf of the President.Zilola studies in the 5th grade of secondary school No. 35 of Zangiata district of Tashkent region. Her first book “A Gift to Mother” was published in 2017. In addition, Zilola is the winner of district and regional stages of “Kamalak yulduzlari” competition. She will take part in the regional stage of “Young reader” competition.
Zilola recently sent a copy of her book and a new poem to the President. Pretty soon, she received a response letter from the Head of the state.
Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khayriddin Sultanov read out this letter at the event.
In the letter, the President expresses his joy for the young heart filled with feelings of belonging to the country, true patriotism, unlimited love and devotion.
“Children, growing up with the high goal to justify the trust of the Homeland, willingness to serve people, working tirelessly on this path and serving as an example to their peers, are the honor and pride of people. I consider the happiness of thousands and thousands of children like you to be my happiness”, the President notes in the letter.
This became another proof of attention to every person in the country, to every appeal. The letter of the President gave a feeling of joy to both the girl and her family.
Spiritual, enlightenment events and sports competitions took place in all districts and cities of the region on the occasion of the Youth Day.
