During the visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed the Chairman of the Uzbekipaksanoat Association to develop the silk industry in Tajikistan by widely introducing Uzbekistan’s experience.

Currently, representatives of the Association are in Tajikistan to ensure the implementation of this instruction and the Memorandum signed on a bilateral basis. Uzbekistan delegation visited the JSC Pillaitochik and its cocoon production.

At the meeting, the necessary instructions and proposals were given on the introduction of a cluster system of sericulture. Representatives of the sphere were informed about the activities of sericulture clusters in Uzbekistan, the conditions created by the state for investors, and subsidies.
