13:13 / 2024-04-20

Tajikistan hosts Uzbekistan Culture Days. As part of the Uzbek Cinema Days program, the Uzbekistan delegation visited the Istiqlol complex, the National Museum, and the Park of Culture and Recreation named after Alisher Navoi in Dushanbe.

At the National Museum, representatives of Uzbek cinema got acquainted with the rich culture of the Tajik people, which has a history dating back more than five thousand years, ancient exhibits, and rare finds.

After this, flowers were laid at the monuments of Maulana Abdurahman Jami and Mir Alisher Navoi, the great sons of two great nations.

The Uzbek Cinema Days started in Dushanbe as part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Tajikistan.

The Uzbek Cinema Days will lay a favorable foundation for further development and improvement of cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan filmmakers and strengthen the friendship between the neighboring peoples.
