As previously reported, a delegation of Uzbekistan cinematographers is visiting Tajikistan to attend the events of Uzbek Cinema Days.
On the first day of the visit, the members of the delegation visited the Academy of Mass Media of Tajikistan, where they took part in a press conference. Director General of Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency F. Abdukhalikov and head of the Academy of Mass Media of Tajikistan Sadi Mahdi Ismatzoda expressed their views on cultural cooperation between the two countries, including the development of national media space and cinematography.
Uzbekistan delegation got acquainted with the activities of the National Library named after Abu Abdullah Rudaki. It contains over three and a half million copies of books, newspapers and magazines in different languages.

On the same day, representatives of Uzbekistan visited Alisher Navoi Park in Dushanbe.
In the evening, the opening ceremony of Uzbek Cinema Days in Tajikistan took place at Vatan Cinema in Dushanbe. The role of this event in the cultural life of the two countries, planned projects for the development of Uzbek and Tajik cinematography were noted.
