The city of Sofia, Bulgaria is hosting the World Taekwondo Cadet Championships. The first day of the championships for Uzbekistan team was successful.

On the first day of the World Championships Akhajon Mukhtorov, Javokhir Khidoyatov, Nigora Azamjonova, Omina Ergasheva and Rozalina Tolibjanova won bronze medals in their weight categories.

Uzbekistan’s 17 athletes are taking part in the championships.
