The Uzbekistan national team won 6 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals at the Fujairah Open International Taekwondo Championship in Fujairah, UAE.

In the finals in the -74 kg weight category, Uzbekistan’s Ulugbek Rashitov and Najmiddin Kosimkhodjayev competed against each other. Based on the results of an uncompromising struggle, U. Rashitov became the owner of the gold medal. N. Kosimkhodjayev received a silver medal.

Jakhongir Khudoyberdiyev (-54 kg), Diyorbek Tukhliboyev (-68 kg), Jasurbek Jaysunov (-80 kg), Ozoda Sobirjonova (-67 kg) and Iroda Mirtojiyeva (+73 kg) beat all opponents in their weight categories and won gold medals.

Mavlonbek Tukhtasinboyev (-80 kg), Nikita Rafalovich (+87 kg) and Feruza Sodikova (-67 kg) won bronze medals.

Thus, Uzbekistan’s team won 10 medals.
