– At the forum, it was noted that thanks to the trust and political will of the leaders of the two countries, relations between Germany and Uzbekistan have been developing rapidly in recent years.

The activity of business representatives made it possible to increase the trade turnover between our countries. The fact that this figure has doubled over the past five years is certainly worthy of recognition.

We have been working in Uzbekistan for 25 years. We opened about 160 large companies in your country and created about 250 thousand jobs. We are interested in taking our cooperation to a new level. The textile industry is developed in your country, and special attention is paid to this area.

Today we will sign a contract with Bukhoro Agrocluster LLC for another major project. Through our activity in the textile industry, we actively contribute to the process of mixing raw materials and cotton fibers during spinning. We move from raw materials to threads, and then weaving, dyeing and sewing, and as you can see, the finished product appears.

The Business Forum brought together hundreds of businessmen, served as a platform for ensuring economic stability between Uzbekistan and Germany, reaching agreements on signing several contracts. Businesspeople exchanged views at the B2B and G2B meetings.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to Germany will primarily serve to strengthen the friendship between the two peoples. At the same time, cooperation between our companies will reach a new level. We are ready to invest not only in the textile industry, but also in other sectors of Uzbekistan.
