The attraction of Turkish investment into projects in the automotive, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, and construction industries in Syrdarya region will be expanded.
This was discussed during a webinar to expand cooperation between Türkiye’s Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and the Syrdarya Regional Hokimiyat.
The webinar was attended by Özgür Onur Özgüven, Chairman of the Türkiye – Uzbekistan Committee of the Foreign Economic Relations Board, Bobur Khujamov, Deputy Hokim of Syrdarya region, representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Türkiye, major Turkish investors operating in Syrdarya region, and representatives of more than 30 companies.
As part of the webinar, detailed presentations were delivered on Syrdarya region’s potential for trade and economic cooperation, investment, and other areas. The region’s opportunities in the automotive industry, metallurgy, construction materials production, logistics, and other sectors were discussed. In addition, information was provided on the advantages of the Syrdarya Free Economic Zone.
At the same time, leading Turkish companies operating in Syrdarya region shared their experience, highlighting the region’s advantages and opportunities.
Turkish participants expressed interest in exploring the region’s potential and prospects for cooperation. They received comprehensive answers to all questions of interest.
