Uzbekistan delegation led by the Acting Hokim of Syrdarya region Akmaljon Makhmudaliyev took part in the Shaanxi – Syrdarya Trade and Economic Cooperation Forum, in Yangling of Shaanxi province, China.

At the forum, information was provided on the modern development of Uzbekistan, comprehensive reforms carried out in all areas of the country, favorable conditions for doing business, guarantees, privileges and preferences created for foreign investors in Syrdarya region.

G2B meetings were organized, mutually beneficial proposals were considered. It was noted that the parties are equally interested in enhancing practical relations in trade, economics, investment, innovation, agriculture, IT and other areas. Issues of new opportunities, enrichment of partnerships with promising initiatives and projects were discussed in detail.

Following the forum, an agreement was signed between the Yangling Modern Agriculture International Cooperation and the Pengsheng Industrial Park in Syrdarya region on attracting investments for the production of meat and agricultural products. Gulistan State University and Yangling Vocational and Technical College reached an agreement on trilateral cooperation between Syrdarya region, China’s Wenzhou Xinsheng and Yangling cross-border logistics companies in international cooperation.
