The Alley of Litterateurs was created in Tashkent to form a reading environment among the youth of the country, to perpetuate the memory of writers and poets who have made a high contribution to the development of national spirituality and literature.

There is a monument to the Uzbek poetess Zulfiya Isroilova in this picturesque place.

By tradition, on the first day of spring, Uzbekistan celebrates the anniversary of a famous public figure, singer of love and fidelity, people’s poetess of Uzbekistan Zulfiya Khanum’s birth.

Participants of the event spoke about the life and work of Zulfiya Isroilova. It was emphasized that the poems of the poetess are permeated with such feelings as love and fidelity, separation pain and patience, deep devotion.

At the event, the cadets of the Customs Institute read the poems of Zulfiya Khanum and presented stage performances.
