Uzbekistan’s Svetlana Osipova won a silver medal in the women’s over 67 kg weight category in taekwondo at the Olympic Games.

Uzbekistan’s taekwondo player competed against Althéa Laurin, the hosts’ representative, in the last decisive final fight. Unfortunately, Svetlana was a bit unlucky in this match.

It should be noted that Svetlana Osipova made history as the first female athlete to win a silver medal at the Olympic Games in taekwondo of Uzbekistan.
