6 hectares cluster is organized on the field, which was previously empty. As a result of 20 million USD project, a modern enterprise has appeared here, which after launching of the first stage already produces yarn by the cluster method.

The company, capable of producing 6.3 thousand tons of yarn per year, produced products worth 46.7 billion USD over the past 9 months of 2019.

Head of the state focused on the importance of clusters for agriculture.

During the previous visits to the region, the President noted the need for cotton harvesting in Surkhandarya entirely on the basis of the cluster system, for which modern enterprises of this form should be organized in each district. This system, effective both economically and socially, has begun to show its real results.

In 2020, it is planned to create 10 clusters with a total cost of 107 million USD.

At the second stage, Denov Textile will organize a garment factory capable of producing ready-made export-oriented knitted products. More than 300 women will get permanent jobs.

The third stage of the project provides for commissioning of the enterprise for fabric painting. It will produce 5 million meters of fabric per year.

As a result of these measures, Surkhandarya will achieve one hundred percent processing of cotton fiber with local capacities in 2020.

The Head of the state instructed to organize livestock complexes with a total livestock of 10 thousand heads at each cluster. This will prevent unreasonable increases in meat prices. It was noted that such complexes will solve employment and social protection issues of the population.

Presentation of projects for development of agricultural sectors of the region in 2019-2021, general plan of the city of Denau, plans for development of Denau district for the next two years was also held.

The President instructed officials to cultivate early-ripening, export-oriented crops in the region, search for new markets for products.
