The Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the UNDP in Uzbekistan have launched a new joint project on empowering youth for the digital economy and digital entrepreneurship development.
At the meeting, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Ilkhom Norkulov, UNDP Resident Representative in Uzbekistan Matilda Dimovska and Advisor to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan Valentin Gusev noted the importance of the project for improving the digital business environment and digital skills of young entrepreneurs.
The main goal of the project is to improve the qualifications and opportunities of young people in digital entrepreneurship, to train them. At the same time, one of the most important tasks is to expand the possibilities for financing digital entrepreneurship.
UNDP Resident Representative in Uzbekistan Matilda Dimovska expressed satisfaction with the fact that this international organization is expanding its participation in supporting entrepreneurship and developing human capital in Uzbekistan.
