Tashkent hosted a roundtable discussion on “Strengthening the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs and private property within the framework of constitutional reforms”.
It was attended by about 100 entrepreneurs, international experts, the Business Ombudsman of Georgia, representatives of about ten associations operating in entrepreneurship, as well as international organizations.
At the event, opinions were expressed on the content and significance of the amendments introduced to the updated Constitution regarding entrepreneurship.

It is known that in accordance with the decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan of March 13, 2023, the referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan” will be held on April 30 this year.
The updated draft Constitution also includes changes related to ensuring freedom of entrepreneurial activity, inviolability of private property, and a favorable investment and business climate.
