Support for women entrepreneurs discussed at an international forum
London hosted an International Forum on “New Uzbekistan: New Opportunities and Social Partnership for Development”. Business Ombudsman Dilmurod Kasymov delivered a speech.
According to the Business Ombudsman, in his speech, he focused on protecting women’s rights and interests, focusing on their role in developing the economy and society.
In particular, due to reforms implemented since 2017, the number of women engaged in entrepreneurial activities has increased from 21 to 37 percent. This indicates significant success in ensuring equal opportunities in entrepreneurship.
The event has become an essential platform for constructive dialogue and discussions and identifying joint actions to develop business partnerships.
The forum participants agreed on the need to continue work on gender equality and expressed their readiness for further cooperation.
