“Support for Muynak” Environmental Charity Bike Marathon started on May 21 in Khanabad. The bike marathon, which has already become popular, continues in Tashkent.

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports Avaz Karimov, Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov, Secretary-General of Uzbekistan Cycling Federation Kozim Urinboykhujayev, Chairman of the Central Council of the Executive Committee of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan Narzulla Oblomurodov and officials of other organizations.

The funds received from the marathon will be directed to improve the living conditions of the population of the Aral Sea region, including landscaping, improving irrigation systems, conducting a network of clean drinking water in Ali aul village of Muynak district and solving other problems of the population of the region.

The bike marathon will end on June 5 in Muynak.
