On October 19-20, Khujand hosted an International Trade Fair “Sughd 2021”, where the tourism potential of Fergana region was presented.

Chairman of Sughd region Rajabbay Ahmadzoda noted the development of friendly relations with foreign countries, in particular with Uzbekistan.

Agreements on cooperation and investments were reached within the framework of the exhibition. Export contracts worth about $3 million have been signed for the delivery of grain and construction material. Memoranda were signed between the officials of Fergana and Sughd regions. Measures have been agreed to further develop trade, investment and tourism ties.
